Job Overview

Qualifications
Required:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- New Jersey valid driver's license in good standing
- B.A. or B.S. in Psychology or Social Work
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Clinical experience with children/adolescent population
- Shift working, Monday 10-6pm, Tuesday 10-7pm, Wednesday 10-6pm, Thursday 10-7pm, Friday 10-4pm
- Full-time
- Receives all referrals both internal and external and completes phone/ walk in screenings
- Schedules intake appointments
- Records pertinent data according to standards. Maintaining spreadsheets of all appointments offered and scheduled
- Followup calls of missed intake appointments and rescheduling patients
- Coordinates the registration process and ensures that all consents/authorizations are obtained prior to treatment
- Manages care verification of benefits and authorization
- Follows up with any billing related issues regarding insurance and authorization
- Provides telephone coverage for other clerical areas and staff as assigned and will cover front desk when needed
- Liaisons to community agencies -school, pediatrician, other social service agencies
