What To Expect
This role focuses on managing purchase orders (POs), invoicing, and shipment creation while supporting financial analysis and cost forecasting. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate chargebacks, auditing invoices, and optimizing financial processes for the Production Control team.
What You'll Do
Oversee PO management, procurement, and planning for packaging, fleet assets, and stocked items Manage ad hoc shipments and support backlog projects like cost center identification and supplier negotiations Monitor market trends, supply and demand challenges, and procurement opportunities Audit invoices, optimize archival processes, and implement chargebacks with financial reporting Conduct historical cost analysis, forecasting, and provide supporting justification Assist in planning and resource management for warehousing, fleet, and staffing Perform other duties as needed to meet site goals
What You'll Bring
Strong negotiation and contract management skills Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience Proficiency in Excel with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets Knowledge of SQL preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in ambiguous environments Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior business leaders Understanding of budgeting, financial principles, and economic concepts
