Reports to

VP, Compliance

This position provides support to the VP of Compliance by organizing, documenting, updating, and writing detailed policies in support of Ria’s Money Transfer entities and its parent company, Euronet. The position is also responsible for governance management of regulated entities

Responsibilities May Include

Policy creation

• Review legal requirements establishing need for policies, if applicable
• Meet with process owners to document and create policies related to financial crimes compliance, regulatory compliance, finance, business continuity, human resources, and information technology/security

Policy management

• Maintain log of necessary changes to existing policies arising from process owner requests, legal changes, or regulatory recommendations
• Make changes to policies and present suggested changes to senior management for approval

Governance

• Work across the organization with teams in finance, compliance, information technology/security, business and operations, and customer care to coordinate board and committee presentations
• Coordinate with administrative staff to ensure timely scheduling of governance meetings
• Document minutes for committee meetings
• Other duties related to regulatory tracking and licensing as assigned
  
  

Preferred Education And Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Training as a paralegal and/or in technical writing
• Experience with money services businesses preferred
• Experience in compliance organizations of regulated entities preferred
  
  

Skills Required

• English proficiency required – written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong technical writing skills required
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
