About the Role:

Global Quality Manager will provide strategic and tactical leadership to QC teams across multiple production site to achieve overall quality goals while maintaining regulatory compliance. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and a deep understanding of quality management system, risk assessment and continuous improvement methodologies. The Global quality manger will work closely with internal cross-functional teams, external suppliers and customer to drive quality excellence across the organization. The Global Quality Manager will support customers with their quality-related concerns and be responsible for development and implementation of our quality management system. This position will be located at Weld-On Gardena (CA) facility and report directly to Director of R&D.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Bring QMS processes and procedures to industry-standard levels across all company sites, aligned with regulations.
  • Manage customer complaints and lead efforts in identifying root cause and corrective action process.
  • Provide guidance and promotes a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Participate in cross-functional team to investigate quality issues/problems, perform risk assessments and implement resolutions.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures and processes.
  • Manage audit activities including supporting external audits and addressing audit findings.
  • Devising ways to improve the manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality products by working with cross-functional team.
  • Provide daily production support including testing, adjusting and disposition of raw materials, products and packaging.
  • Gaining an understanding of the customer's needs and requirements and developing quality standards accordingly.
  • Supervising inspectors, technicians, and other staff members and providing guidance.
  • Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences or other related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management in a global manufacturing setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.
  • Experience with mentoring Quality teams with the ability to monitor goals and implement corrective action items.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a high-performance continuous improvement environment.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis, and statistical methods.
  • Must have the ability to take the leadership role in all global quality matters.
  • Proficient in critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

  • Primarily works in a laboratory or office setting, with occasional exposure to manufacturing environments.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and move around the facility for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Salary Range: $105,000-$120,00 /annually
