Financial Analyst

About The Opportunity:

Perform analysis of financial information in order to measure performance against pre-determined targets. Provide guidance and recommendations to improve performance and provide direction for maximization of Company's assets.

Qualifications:

Education: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; Preferred: MBA

Experience: 3-5 years Accounting or Finance including budgeting, forecasting, data management and financial analysis, and experience with business intelligence tools (writing and creating reports, working with various departments)

Areas of Knowledge: Accounting (General Corporate/Cost), Data management skills, PowerPoint and Excel expert, Microsoft Dynamics AX

Skills: Leadership, Organization, Planning, Analytical Ability, Communication Skills

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting and analysis in support of business planning and evaluation, including professional grade Microsoft PowerPoint presentations for BOD and parent company reporting.
• Evolve the financial reporting & business intelligence function in the creation of the monthly reporting to upper management with standardized reporting formats and KPI's to consolidate into HPA Division reporting.
• Potential business intelligence system transition from Targit to Power BI.
• Data engineering projects to allow greater insight into analysis and reporting.
• Participate in other additional projects and reporting as needed to support the business including General Accounting and Cost Accounting.
• Support and assist in transition to new ERP system, including but not limited to new reporting and understanding of necessary processes to enhance accounting processes and various analysis.
