Accounting Clerk

Position Summary

This position is responsible for processing invoices, verifying freight charges, and ensuring accurate and timely billing for logistics operations. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of transportation and freight billing processes. This position is on-site at our Coral Springs, FL office.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit freight invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contracts and rate agreements.
• Communicate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
• Maintain accurate billing records and report on key financial metrics.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the billing process.
  
  

Minimum Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics billing, invoicing, or a related field.
• Previous experience in logistics billing, freight auditing, or transportation invoicing preferred.
• Knowledge of freight terms, accessorial charges, and transportation industry regulations preferred.
