About This Role
The Evara Health Staff Development Trainer will conduct informative training sessions centered on the evolving needs of the Children’s Mental Health Initiative (CMHI). The trainings include, but are not limited to, Trauma Informed Care, Adverse Childhood Experiences, Motivational Interviewing, and staff development topics (e.g., Leadership, Collaboration, Time Management, Conflict Resolution, etc.) The training will be for Evara Health staff as well was for members and agencies in the community.

About This Role
The Evara Health Staff Development Trainer will conduct informative training sessions centered on the evolving needs of the Children’s Mental Health Initiative (CMHI). The trainings include, but are not limited to, Trauma Informed Care, Adverse Childhood Experiences, Motivational Interviewing, and staff development topics (e.g., Leadership, Collaboration, Time Management, Conflict Resolution, etc.) The training will be for Evara Health staff as well was for members and agencies in the community.
What You'll Do
- Assists in the creation of content development for on various topics to include, but not limited to, ACEs, Trauma Informed, Child Development, Behavioral Health and Mental Health First Aid.
- Engages learners (internal & external) in the various topics as evidenced in satisfaction surveys, pre- and post-test results.
- Provides Annual ACEs Training to Evara Health and community partners.
- Facilitates the growth of Evara Health and community partners in being Trauma Informed.
- Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training etc.
- Contacts various institutions and agencies to determine different types of training programs that can be offered to them.
- Identifies and engages various community agencies in the objectives of staff development for the expansion and promotion of CMHI.
- Participates, as assigned in various committee meetings; regularly and consistently reporting outcomes of committee meetings to supervisor or designee.
- Works with supervisor and marketing team to develop marketing strategies for the various training topics in the community
- Responsible for tracking and reporting on all training data, to include but not limited to, number of participants, number of trainings by topics, evaluation data related to training to include effectiveness and trainee growth because of training, etc.
- Thinks outside the box to create attention-grabbing ways of presenting material and keeping the audience engaged.
- Strict adherence to all Evara Health, HIPAA, HRSA, State, Federal and accreditation agency rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of the effective use of public relations techniques.
- Ability to speak effectively before community groups and communicate effectively to various types of people.
- Ability to maintain essential records, reports and files.
- Ability to learn to utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by the agency, office, or related units.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to express and exchange ideas via spoken word during activities in which they must convey details or important spoken instructions to others accurately.
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties, as assigned.

- Behavioral Health, Human Services, Education or Social Work preferred.
- Public Speaking experience preferred.
- Associate/Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
