Position Summary
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing the portfolio management process and secondarily, involved in the loan due diligence and documentation process for our business members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex financial transactions. This position offers an opportunity to support the Business Services operation and work closely with Credit Officers and Relationship Managers (RMs) to ensure a seamless member experience and efficient loan monitoring throughout the life of the loan.

- Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
- Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Asset Controls, and should request legal interpretation as necessary. Must ensure subordinates are also compliant with such laws and regulations.
- Must be bondable.

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business lending or a related financial services role with a strong understanding of loan underwriting, credit analysis, portfolio management and the loan documentation process.
- Additionally, this position requires an understanding of basic computer skills including m365 suites.
- Strong knowledge of the business credit process, underwriting and loan documentation process.
- In-depth understanding of financial statements, credit risk analysis, and due diligence procedures.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, CRM systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, senior management, and internal teams.
- Thorough understanding of Credit Union and Banking Regulations
- Outstanding analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- Presents a positive and professional image to members through effective and courteous verbal and written communications.
- Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
