Location: Alternate locations may be considered. This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The Program Manager is responsible for the development and ongoing management of one or more programs supporting Carelon. Program managers typically support business strategies through an integrated portfolio of external client facing projects or initiatives. A program manager may have responsibility for a piece of a larger enterprise/Carelon.

How You Will Make An Impact
- Manages and coordinates the development, approval, implementation, and compliance of on-going Carelon programs; develops/adheres to program budget; ensures program meets its stated objectives; provides subject matter expertise in response to day-to-day business issues.
- Researches applicable subject matter practices and remains aware of industry trends.
- Manages and partners with corporate and Carelon business areas.
- Coordinates training related to program; develops program success measures and performs periodic assessments of program success.
- Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years external client facing experience in program/project management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Project management certification highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of sales operations and enablement best practices preferred
- Proven experience in program management, preferably within the health insurance or financial services industry.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and experience with Salesforce preferred.
- Ability to analyze existing sales processes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic changes.
- Strong ability to independently prepare and present comprehensive reports to management
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to utilize these tools for data analysis, reporting, and presentation; proficiency in SharePoint for document management and collaboration.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforece.com desired.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional team members to lead and/or support key initiatives, ensuring alignment and effective execution.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive continuous improvement.
