Performance Responsibilities
- Develop instructional Art objectives for each lesson concerning what students need and should learn and relate them to the course and state standards.
- Correlate learning activities with instructional objectives and the academic level of the students.
- Create and maintain an atmosphere conducive to each student's emotional and behavioral development; one in which the students can develop a sense of worth and dignity.
- Direct and supervise the conduct of all students in the classroom.
- Requisition all prescribed instructional materials and supplies necessary to complete the academic year.
- Establish and maintain parent-teacher communications when necessary through conferences and phone calls.
- Utilizes approved instructional material and appropriate equipment or technology for educational purposes.
- Learn, develop, and implement academic strategies and lessons.
- Establish and maintain regular parent-teacher communication through e-mail, phone calls, and/or written correspondence.
- Implement all corporation policies, strategies, and programs as they relate to the Corporation
- All other duties assigned by Principal
- Appropriate State of Indiana license
- Proven reliability, good organization skills, and ability to work well with students, parents and staff.
- Strong communication skills including experience in leading professional development.
- Ability to problem-solve and be a self-starter
