Your Impact as an IT Help Desk Level 1 Technician
In this role, you will:
- Provide First-Level Support: Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to ensure seamless IT operations.
- Manage User Accounts: Assist with Active Directory administration, including user creation and access management.
- Set Up and Configure Devices: Image, configure, and deploy new computers and laptops for employees.
- Support Connectivity Issues: Troubleshoot network and internet connectivity problems to minimize downtime.
- Assist with Printer & Peripheral Setup: Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers and other office peripherals.
- Ensure Software Functionality: Install and update software applications while troubleshooting browser-related issues.
- Deliver Excellent Customer Service: Provide prompt and professional IT support while maintaining clear communication with end-users.
- Work On-Site: This is an in-person role (not remote), and occasional travel may be required.
We’re seeking someone who:
- Has experience in help desk support or desktop support.
- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Is comfortable with troubleshooting computer hardware, network connectivity, and software applications.
- Possesses excellent customer service and communication skills to assist end-users effectively.
- Can type at least 30 words per minute.
- Is willing to travel occasionally as needed.
- Holds a certificate, associate’s, or bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field (preferred but not required).
