Verdesian Life Sciences is seeking an individual for the role of Director, Customer Service & Inside Sales in the corporate office in Cary, North Carolina. Individual should reside in the Raleigh-Durham Triangle area.
This position reports to the Vice President, Supply Chain Operations and is responsible for defining the strategic objectives of the function. It also oversees the operational activities of Customer Service and Inside Sales for a mid-market, private equity-owned life sciences company.

Verdesian Life Sciences is seeking an individual for the role of Director, Customer Service & Inside Sales in the corporate office in Cary, North Carolina. Individual should reside in the Raleigh-Durham Triangle area.
This position reports to the Vice President, Supply Chain Operations and is responsible for defining the strategic objectives of the function. It also oversees the operational activities of Customer Service and Inside Sales for a mid-market, private equity-owned life sciences company.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inside sales strategies to drive growth and increase market share
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for team members
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience and satisfaction
- Develop and implement customer service policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Monitor and analyze customer service performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure customer satisfaction
- Train, mentor, and manage customer service staff to maintain a high standard of service and handle complex or escalated customer service issues
- Coordinate and manage customer service projects and initiatives, ensuring the necessary resources and tools are available for quality service delivery
- Assist with the recruitment and development of onboarding plans for new personnel
- Strong analytical skills to assess sales performance and identify trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best
- Experience with CRM systems and sales tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience leading a distributed work force
- Works effectively with cross-functional executive level teams
- Ability to coach, develop and lead a team in a rapidly changing business environment
- Experience leading operational excellence initiatives including technology driven solutions
- Strong leader that can define and manage future directions of the department and business processes
- Broad subject matter expertise in Customer Relationship management
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of professional and personal integrity
- Ability to create a sustainable and dynamic work environment that attracts and retains the best talent in the department
- Strong communication skills combined with commitment and proven track record to succeed within a fast-paced environment
