Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer currently has a Senior Shipping and Receiving Specialist opportunity at Ellsworth Adhesives. This role reports into our Ellsworth Dispensing Solutions (EDS) Division located in Sparks, NV. The ideal candidate would be open to hybrid or remote work.

You will perform the highest level of shipping/receiving duties and responsibilities. You will take the lead on warehouse operations, system troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Executes all duties and responsibilities of Shipping/Receiving Associate and Shipping/Receiving Specialist
• Fills out various international documentation as needed, such as SLIs (Shippers Letters of Instructions), filing EEI (Electronic Export Information), quoting, booking and confirming cargo shipments
• Resolves more complex issues impacting the department’s operations
• Develops processes and capabilities for the shipping, warehousing, and receiving teams

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Shipping/ Receiving experience
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Forklift certification required
• Ability to resolve the more complex issues impacting the department’s operations
• Demonstrated aptitude to learn ERP and other Warehouse systems to troubleshoot and navigate through system outages
• Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to achieve a high level of work quality Microsoft Office, ERP, distribution center software and/or hardware (UPC guns, etc.)
• Ability to interpret order notes and execute order instructions effectively
• Lifts and/or move up to 50 lbs
