Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Apprentice with 3 to 4 years of experience in residential electrical work. The ideal candidate will assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential electrical systems while continuing to grow in the trade through hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining residential electrical systems including wiring, lighting, outlets, and fixtures
• Interpret and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical codes
• Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues in homes
• Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols
  
  

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of experience in residential electrical work
• Active Electrical Apprentice license (if required by state)
• Strong understanding of basic electrical theory and residential wiring
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of residential environments
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working under a licensed electrician
• Familiarity with local building codes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
  
  

Schedule

• Full-Time, Monday to Friday
• 8-hour shifts
• 40-45 hours per week with overtime potential
  
  

Work Location:

In person across Southwest Michigan (from Kalamazoo to the Lakeshore)
