Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for business, ensuring clarity on key performance metrics, variances, and trends.
- Prepare and analyze monthly revenue to support month-end close process.
- Evaluate new revenue contracts and budgets and maintain budgets in Clinical Trial Management System.
- Develop detailed forecasts and budgeting models that encompass sales, revenue, operational expenses, capital investments and cash flows.
- Present financial results and strategic recommendations to finance leadership team and other business stakeholders, identifying areas for optimization and cost management.
- Provide financial insights to support communication with private equity stakeholders, ensuring alignment on financial goals and value creation initiatives.
- Leverage financial software and tools to automate reporting and improve data analysis efficiency.
- Perform cost analyses across sites and site support center to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost-saving initiatives.
- Evaluate staffing models to ensure balance of work and support efficient staffing.
- Build financial models to assess the financial viability of new clinical trials, new denovo sites and/or acquisitions, partnerships, service line expansions, or capital expenditures.
- Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis to assess the potential financial outcomes of various strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with finance leadership to develop financial strategies that align with the overall growth objectives of the organization.
- Assist in evaluating new opportunities and performance improvements across the portfolio, contributing to overall site growth and profitability.
- Leverage financial software and tools to automate reporting and improve data analysis efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- MBA, CPA, or CFA is preferred, but not required.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in private equity-backed healthcare organizations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, data analysis, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
