Fabrication Administrator

Viking Fabrication Service is committed to being the fire contractor's single and best source for all things related to fire protection. We are a supplier of pipe, valves, fittings, and fabrication services.

Summary: We are seeking a Fabrication Administrator (Stock Lister) to work in our Carol Stream, IL location. In this role, you will be responsible for the transfer of precise customer data into industry-specific software. Attention to detail and accuracy are highly important for this role.

This position is NOT hybrid or remote and is on-site full-time (Monday through Friday).

Fabrication Administrator Duties & Responsibilities

• Enter data into HydraList system received via email.
• Verify all necessary information is provided and accurate prior to entry.
• Review incoming lists for completeness according to specs.
• Review the customer's material list for specific jobs if available
• Prioritize incoming jobs from internal contacts/branch locations
  
  

Fabrication Administrator Required Skills

• Data entry experience (1 to 2 yrs.)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize workload
• Ability to work independently
• Good written and verbal communication
• Speed and accuracy
• Knowledge of standard measurements
• Previous experience in detailed data entry; Industrial/production experience preferred
• Previous experience with 10 key data entry preferred
  
  

Fabrication Adminstrator Required Education

• High School or equivalent
