The Arbor Day Foundation is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, enhance product development, manage relationships, and execute marketing strategies for our corporate commemorative partnerships program. This role will drive partnerships while creating meaningful ways for companies to honor employees, customers, and stakeholders through tree-planting initiatives.
This role sits on our Corporate Partnership Team and reports to the Director, Corporate Partnerships. Approximately 25% travel is required with this role.

- Proven track record. Proven ability to develop and execute product growth and market expansion strategies.
- Excellent relationship-building skills. Experience engaging senior-level executives (C-level/VP) and managing corporate partnerships.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset. Experience using CRM systems and making performance-optimized decisions.
- Sales and negotiation skills. identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Technical product experience. Work closely with engineering teams to translate product vision into action plans, including go-to-market strategy development and campaign execution.
- Lead Business Development. Prospect new opportunities, generate high-quality leads, and create urgency in decision-making to accelerate partnership growth.
- Innovate & Customize Solutions. Develop digital and tangible commemorative products and programs that provide meaningful engagement for corporate partners while advancing sustainability goals.
- Own Performance & Profitability. Manage profit and loss (P/L), leveraging data insights to optimize programs and drive continuous improvement.
- Negotiate & Manage Agreements. Structure contracts and oversee relationships with vendors and partners to ensure long-term success
- Execute Marketing & Engagement Strategies. Develop and implement prospecting campaigns that amplify commemorative programs and partnerships.
