Job Title: Sr Front End Engineer

Location: Glendale, LA – hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite

Platform / Stack

You will work with technologies that include JavaScript, TypeScript, AWS and Gitlab.

Compensation Expectation : $70 – 90/hr

What You’ll Do As a Front End Engineer:

• Play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that enable visual effects artists, production teams, and executives across all the Studio’s banners to creatively and efficiently tell their stories
• Collaborating closely with a team of skilled engineers and subject matter experts, you will contribute to building robust applications that drive our creative endeavors forward
• You will be instrumental in building applications across various platforms, including the Apple Vision Pro, all with the goal of helping our Studio make our films
• Collaborate with a team of software engineers and subject matter experts to design, build, test, and deploy software solutions for production workflows
• Work with fellow engineers to create smooth, efficient, and dynamic user experiences
• Prioritize and estimate work within an agile scrum process using user stories
• Troubleshoot issues and implement defect fixes
  
  

Qualifications:

You could be a great fit if you have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of industry experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript / ReactJS or similar front end framework.
• Knowledge and experience using source control and CI tools such as GitLab and GitHub
• Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Preferred :
• Familiarity with databases, including PostgreSQL.
• Experience in working with Cloud Platforms, particularly AWS or Azure
• Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
