Key Responsibilities:
Grant Writing & Fund Development
- Research grant opportunities that align with our programs and goals
- Write and submit clear, compelling grant proposals and reports
- Track deadlines and make sure all reporting requirements are met
- Maintain a grant calendar to manage submission timelines
- Support relationship-building with funders and explore new funding leads
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, MOUs, and agreements
- Track key dates, deliverables, and compliance requirements
- Help leadership prepare for contract negotiations
- Stay up to date on grant and contract compliance guidelines
- Support the CEO with scheduling, document prep, and follow-up tasks
- Help maintain partnerships with community orgs, agencies, and funders
- Prepare reports and presentations related to grants, contracts, or partnerships
- Take on special assignments that support external engagement or funding
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field (e.g., communications, business, or public policy)
- 1–3 years of experience in grant writing or contract support
- Comfortable representing an organization or leader in external communications or settings
- Strong written communication and editing skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and good at managing deadlines
- Familiar with grant writing tools
- Able to handle confidential information with professionalism
