Responsibilities
As our HR Professional, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to
- Leading and managing the entire talent management process, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, development, and retention of top talent.
- Building and maintaining strong employee relations, resolving conflicts and issues promptly and effectively.
- Conducting interviews, screening potential candidates, and making hiring recommendations.
- Implementing and managing performance management systems, conducting performance evaluations, and providing constructive feedback to employees.
- Ensuring compliance with FMLA, Workers Compensation, LOAs, terminations, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Developing, updating, and enforcing the employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
- Providing guidance and advice to management on HR-related matters, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
- Participating in HR projects and initiatives, driving continuous improvement in HR practices.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or HR certification would be a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in the engineering industry.
- Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, interviewing, performance management, FMLA, Workers Compensation, LOAs, terminations, evaluations, employee handbook, policies, procedures.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
