The Operations Director needs to be a highly organized individual with a passion for early childcare. Ensuring everything in the building is operating properly, Health & Safety is at the forefront of daily activities, and has the ability to maintain a positive attitude throughout the day. They must know or be willing and able to learn all of Georgia Childcare Licensing requirements in addition to Goddard Standards.

This position is considered an Assistant Director Position.

• Learn all essential functions for each position in the school.
• The confidence to communicate effectively and professionally with school personnel, children, and parents.
• Work with and support the franchise owner, executive director, and staff coordinator in running the center.

Operational Leadership

• Manage filing system.
• Create systems to enhance daily operations.
  
  
  

Team Management

• Recognize hiring needs & assist in assuring every classroom is staffed to our standard of classroom ratios.
• Conducting staff reviews as needed.
• Manage staff schedules and time off.
• Ability to co-manage up to 25 employees.
• Create a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and open communication.
• Conducts weekly meetings to discuss the needs of the center and create a clear plan to address concerns.
• Works to build a top-tier school that is the best choice for students in the location.
  
  
  

Health & Safety Compliance

• Ensure that the school environment is safe, clean, and well-maintained.
• Stay updated on state and local regulations regarding health and safety in childcare settings and ensure the school is in compliance.
• Implement and oversee emergency preparedness plans and conduct regular safety drills.
• Ensure all staff training is up to date.
• Can recognize and assign the appropriate staff training when needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
• Meets background check eligibility
• Must have great love and patience for children

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
