Job Summary
The Director Supply Chain Services will oversee the end-to-end supply chain management of a designated platform supporting metric delivery thru SME defined systems and tools. This individual will be responsible for leading the S&OP process connecting the organization on a common 12-18 month plan while highlighting and driving value creation & gap closing opportunities. This role will champion technology, optimization, and performance improvement initiative to ensure continuous improvement of the supply chain to meet organizational objectives.
Schedule
Hybrid role out of our Carol Stream plant with 30-40% travel to other plant locations.

Job Duties
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Platform Strategy & Leadership
- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain management of a designated platform, from initial design and implementation to optimization and maintenance.
- Own the enterprise translation of enterprise supply chain strategies to a designated platform
- Leads the manufacturing capacity management process: “what-if” scenarios, re-sourcing activities, customer facing / internal comms, and available to sell socialization.
- Ensure application of standard work for scheduling, supply planning, inventory, materials requirements planning, service, inventory control, rate management, and run rules.
- Participate in customer reviews and hyper care processes as appropriate.
- Drives the S&OP process including Inventory, Supply, & Platform Reviews
- Support 1-number planning & communication across the organization with Finance, Sales, etc.
- Work closely with business leaders, IT, operations, logistics, procurement, and finance teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Foster relationships with internal stakeholders to understand supply chain needs and translate them into solutions
- Champion of Blue Yonder planning solution. Ensure successful roll-out and adherence to designed system and process.
- Ensure seamless data exchange and integration between different systems & functions (e.g., SAP, BY, Finance, Sales, etc).
- Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades to the platform.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives & HIPS projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain performance
- Inform the organization through metrics & reporting, identifying issues and work to resolve cross-functionally based on value creation opportunity.
- Support delivery of organizational KPIs: service, write-offs, days on hand, and plan stability.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of platform professionals.
- Support local Supply Chain teams in terms of on-boarding, training, & coaching.
- Champion process and tool improvement initiatives related to S&OP and Supply Chain.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring timely delivery of services, software updates, and troubleshooting support and cost recovery process
- Provide guidance on supply chain terms of contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure maximum value.
- Ensure the supply chain platform adheres to regulatory standards and company policies, including data security and privacy regulations.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with operations, including system downtime, integration failures, and data inaccuracies.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., procurement, inventory management, distribution, logistics).
- Expertise in technology solutions related to supply chain management.
- Excellent project management skills with experience in leading large, cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with senior leaders, stakeholders, and teams.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on delivering results.

- MS Office Suite, SAP, Blue Yonder
- Work is primarily done in an office setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years multi-functional Supply Chain Experience (Planning, Logistics, Inventory Control, S&OP)
