Business Analyst & Quality Assurance Specialist

SUMMARY:

The Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Specialist will be primarily responsible for supporting and enhancing VoidForm’s internal applications. This role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, ensuring the quality and functionality of the application, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver excellent user experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Performs the following responsibilities in accordance with VoidForm policies and procedures, work rules, expectations, and behavior standards:

• Works closely with stakeholders to elicit, gather, document, and analyze business requirements for internal applications.
• Identifies, documents, and tracks defects using defect tracking tools, and collaborates with the development team to resolve issues.
• Creates clear and concise documentation for business requirements, test plans, and user guides.
• Communicates effectively with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Backlog grooming; regularly reviews and prioritizes the product backlog to ensure that the most valuable features and improvements are being addressed.
• Works closely with both business and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of application enhancements and updates.
• Develops comprehensive test plans and test cases, execute tests, and ensure the application meets quality standards.
• Creates process flow diagrams and models to represent business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Performs other duties as assigned based on experience, skills and business needs.
  
  

Requirements

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Training, and Experience Required)

• Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Required: 3-5 years’ experience in a BA or QA role focusing on web applications.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, machine information systems, or related field.
  
  

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in process modeling and documentation.
• Experience with test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools and scripting languages.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to comply with VoidForm’s behavior standards and values.
