The North Coast School of Education (NCSOE) Director develops, coordinates, maintains, administers and evaluates the preliminary and clear teacher, administrative, and intern training programs serving the North Coast School of Education service area, district charters, and counties. This role focuses on monitoring programs to maintain accreditation, ensure compliance with changing policies and meet the needs of new administrators and teachers. The NCSOE Director will also develop and implement a recruitment plan and application process for aspiring and new teachers and administrators that emphasizes a broad range of representation and a variety of perspectives. Education: -Master’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education is required. Experience: -In management positions with progressively increasing responsibility and professional experience in the field of education. -In staff development and/or in-service training experience. -In supervision of district site or county office program operations and activities, including the supervision of certificated and classified staff. This must include serving in an administrative position with primary responsibility of a school site or program specifically designed to serve students. Credentials: -A valid California Administrative Services Credential is required.

- Must be fingerprinted and a satisfactory Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation records checks must be received by the Sonoma County Office of Education, prior to employment. -Proof of TB test will be required upon employment.
