Process Engineer

Position Summary

In the position of QA Process Engineer you will generate and maintain a site process qualification/validation program plan. Review site performance of process areas and equipment regarding production. Identify and solve bottlenecks and capacity constraints to prevent delays or production downtime at copackers.

Essential Job Function

• Collaborate with engineering and operations leaders from copackers to report performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using Six Sigma methodology for project sign off, month to month production performance follow up.
• Develop and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) documentation, inspection plans/standards. Create short and long term solutions from analysis of safety, quality, or equipment performance.
• Communication with internal departments to ensure copackers are producing on time and within established standards. Generate final reports, compiling historical data packages, performing statistical evaluation, generating discussion of results and scientific based conclusions, and route documents as appropriate.
• Develop expansion and innovation scope documentation that will contain all the specifications of the current project to share with at the beginning and end of the project.
• Responsible for identifying key technical process improvement aimed at making production systems more efficient and cost effective. Defines, implements and produces key metrics to identify current operational efficiency. Uses statistical analysis and technical knowledge to calculate, propose and implement new methods and processes to increase efficiency.
• Interprets market requirements and converts to engineering and program deliverables. Identifies and communicates project scope and ensures program milestones and objectives are met.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required in the field of Engineering
• Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in process analysis, process engineering
• Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in raw data analysis
• Computer Skills Desired: Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, Power apps, Power Business Intelligence (BI)
• Preferred Certifications: Project Management desirable
• Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Beverage industry knowledge preferred. Knowledge and experience with Six sigma tools and methodology strongly desired.
  
  

Base Salary Range: $68,000 - $75,000 annually
