Position Purpose

Upholds the Credit Union’s mission of “We do the right thing one member, one employee, and one experience at a time to strengthen the communities we serve” by implementing strategies to promote the overall image and brand of the credit union and its products and services. Primary responsibilities will include designing ads for both traditional and digital channels, marketing collateral and signage; providing ideas for campaigns and content; coordinating campaign and other communication assets; communicating with our agency partners, employees and members; assisting with events and charitable activities; and looking for opportunities that promote the Credit Union philosophy.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, design, and execute both print and digital communication projects from start to final delivery.
  • Lead photography or video direction for various collateral, ensuring alignment with visual storytelling objectives.
  • Design and produce animation in digital advertising or for video design elements.esign elements.
  • Develop innovative and engaging multimedia content that supports marketing strategies and connects emotionally with audiences.
  • Present creative ideas, storyboards, and video concepts to stakeholders and refine outputs based on feedback.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent branding and cohesive messaging across all communication channels.
  • Build rapport with internal and external teams to align project designs with strategic goals.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure multimedia projects meet objectives and timelines.
  • Create stunning visuals and print-ready designs for newsletters, brochures, social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines while incorporating innovative elements to captivate the audience.
  • Manage video projects end-to-end, including concept development, production, and editing, while meeting project deadline for marketing, promotional, and internal communications.
  • Execute on-location and studio shoots, ensuring high-quality lighting, sound, and composition standards.
  • Collaborate with Brand, Digital, Community Relations, and Web Development teams to conceptualize creative that is on with the department strategy.
  • Partner with Brand and Digital team to conduct A/B testing to address design, and functionality (to ensure it is not only visually appealing, but it also optimizes for conversion).
  • Track industry trends, competitors, methods, and techniques in emerging digital technology. Make recommendations to team.
  • In addition to the primary duties, may assist the department in various other duties including, but not limited to, researching projects, special event participation and planning, such as grand openings or new product launches, and overall branding functions.
  • Limited travel required to various branches, meetings, seminars, and conferences.

Necessary Experience And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Digital Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in multimedia development, graphic design, and video content
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and InDesign) and Microsoft 365 tools.
  • In-depth experience in motion graphics, animation, and video production, and editing.
  • Proficiency with video hosting platforms (e.g., Vimeo, Wistia).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment, with excellent time management skills and attention to detail. Experience using project management software a plus.
  • Expert knowledge in print and digital production and file preparation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Products including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong team player work ethic with the ability to work quickly and efficiently.

Work Environment And Physical Requirements

  • Office environment with moderate level of noise
  • Prolonged sitting or standing
  • Frequent mental and visual concentration at computer or other office equipment
  • Possess valid Driver’s License for occasional travel for events, meetings, etc.
  • Minimal lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Outdoor environments (travel) where temperature variations could be somewhat uncomfortable
