Shop Assistant

Lawn Doctor is Hiring for a Part Time Shop Assistant for our shop located in the Spokane Valley off Trent and Sullivan. This is an entry level position where training is provided and is ideal for a student as it schedule is late afternoon/early evening (2/3 pm to 6/7 pm) with 20-30 hours per week Monday-Friday. Hours will depend on availability and skill sets as more hours are available during summer time if desired. Responsibilities include being on your feet for the entire shift, washing, vacuuming, cleaning the service trucks and power equipment, as well as filling vehicles and equipment with fuel. Re-stocking vehicles with invoices, water, 50# bags of fertilizer, and other materials needed for servicing our customers each day. Training is provided and Clear and Valid Drivers License is required and successful candidates also need to have a good attitude, attention to detail, and ability to take direction. Ability to operate a pressure washer, lift 50 pounds, operate small equipment, and comfortable with light maintenance and small tools. Candidates with small engine knowledge, mechanical skills, and good problem solving skills are preferred.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
