In this role you will use your passion for technology to deliver on the strategic roadmap at Northmarq. You will collaborate with teams of software engineers, product owners, business analysts to solve complex problems, enhance our software development processes, adhere to industry standards, and stay ahead of emerging technologies.

Position Responsibilities

  • Create secure, resilient, reliable, maintainable, scalable, and observable cloud-based services using proven architecture patterns.
  • Maintain code integrity and organization.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues.
  • Develop automated test solutions to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the engineering teams to design and launch improvements.
  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines.
  • Help manage and optimize data warehousing solutions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, concepts, best practices, and play a key role with upgrades and proof-of-concepts.
  • Occasionally work weekends/nights on occasion for maintenance and support activities.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience in software development.
  • Experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
  • Experience with developing, building, deploying, and running cloud-first applications.
  • Experience consuming and creating APIs
  • Experience with SQL and/or Snowflake
  • Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code processes and tools.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work quickly, independently, and collaboratively in a team environment with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • A curious drive with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Disciplined, dynamic, and flexible approach to work.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, assignments, and prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated work ethic and willingness to work extended hours as required.

Minnesota Residents: Northmarq carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The salary range for the Full Stack Engineer position is $90,000.00 to $125,000.00 annually. This range is a good faith estimate and the actual compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
