Billing Analyst

Soni's professional service client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Billing Analyst to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This position will play a key role in managing the billing process, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining financial records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has a strong understanding of billing practices, and can communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

We are specifically seeking local area candidates as this role requires the individual to work onsite at the company's office location.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process billing transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile billing discrepancies and work closely with clients to resolve any billing issues.
• Generate, distribute, and track invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual agreements.
• Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely payments.
• Maintain detailed records of billing and invoicing activities in the company's accounting software.
• Assist in preparing reports related to billing and financial activities.
• Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to support month-end closing activities.
• Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices and payment statuses.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $20 to $24 an hour

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
