Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager IA to oversee construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for ensuring diversity, equality, and inclusion in all aspects of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or risks
  • Foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment among project team members
  • Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are preferred

Day-to-day

  • Hold regular meetings with the project team to ensure alignment on project goals and milestones
  • Review and approve project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to address any project-related issues or concerns
  • Monitor and track project progress, updating stakeholders on any changes or developments
  • Maintain a focus on diversity, equality, and inclusion in all project-related decisions and interactions
