BlueHalo is seeking a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer for our operations in Leesburg, Virginia. The Principal Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer will use technical design expertise in multiple domains for a suite of software products. This role will focus on software initiatives requiring in-depth knowledge of signal-processing architectures and algorithms.

BlueHalo is seeking a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer for our operations in Leesburg, Virginia. The Principal Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer will use technical design expertise in multiple domains for a suite of software products. This role will focus on software initiatives requiring in-depth knowledge of signal-processing architectures and algorithms.
This Role Will
- Set the strategy and technology roadmap for signal processing and development.
- Influence decision-making and strategic planning for signal programs.
- Determine new areas for software technology introduction or proof-of-concepts based on industry trends.
- Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry, and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
- Coach and mentor team members on technical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR Associate’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with a minimum of 13 years of professional experience.
- Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.
- Experience with complex architectures that span edge computing, cloud (AWS experience is a plus), and hybrid environments.
- Experience with modern software development and deployment tooling and practices such as DevOps and CI/CD.
