POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for a variety of department operational duties and support functions in the Trust Department. Assist Trust Administrators with various duties related to their client relationships and clerical related functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of all assigned operational and support functions.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
High school diploma or equivalent; degree or equivalent certification is desired.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
3+ years clerical experience or equivalent higher level education
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
40 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of all assigned operational and support functions.
- Opens and sorts all incoming mail. Retrieves and distributes intra-office mail. Prepares mail for office couriers.
- Maintains account administrative files.
- Sorts, copies, and distributes reports, documents, and files.
- Clerical type duties such as setting up new accounts on the computer systems, typing, answering phones, and serving as a receptionist for the Trust Department.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Assists and backs up staff as needed.
- Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
- Represent the Bank in a courteous and professional manner.
- Run errands as requested.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
- Advanced Customer service skills, self-starter.
- Must be able to read and understand legal documents, i.e. trust instruments, wills, etc.
- Detail oriented with accuracy required in all tasks.
- Able to work with multiple employees.
- High level of confidentiality required.
- Able to prioritize and perform several tasks at one time.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Maintain integrity of account information.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
High school diploma or equivalent; degree or equivalent certification is desired.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of basic office structure and information flow
- Knowledge of Windows XP
- Strong Word and Excel skills needed
- Able to master new computer programs and systems
- Accurate typing skills - minimum 40 wpm
3+ years clerical experience or equivalent higher level education
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Well organized
- Good interpersonal and public relations skills
- Cooperative and willing to assist others
