Execute defined tasks of a project or lab work request for new product introduction, raw material changes, product testing, and root cause analysis. Anticipates or suggests work required or follow-up experiments to achieve an objective.
Key Requirements
The salary range for these skills is $60,000.00 - $68,500. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.

Job Purpose

Key Requirements
- Understand the purpose of formulation components and reformulate to solve internal and external customer issues.
- Manage the assigned lab work requests/projects to include including planning and timeline, on a weekly basis.
- Completes tasks in accordance with quality standards as set by laboratory management to include ISO 9001.
- Maintains detailed technical records in the form of electronic notebook and/or computer databases.
- Provide data-driven insights to support diagnostics and resolution of issues in manufacturing, application, and formulation.
- Summarize test data in the form of spreadsheets, reports, and presentation. Will analyze data and submit recommendations.
- Infer next course of experimental actions from completed testing and results.
- Follows safe work practices for personal and equipment safety, in both the laboratory and in the field.
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 2 years' experience in a laboratory environment. Experience in chemical manufacturing preferred. Academic experience may be substituted for work experience.
- Background in chemistry/polymers required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SAP preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 25-40 pounds.
- Work with and reach for hazardous materials located at higher shelves.
- Wear a respirator and safety shoes for extended periods of time during a day.
- Ability to stand on feet and spray paint for the entire duration of a day.
