The Position
We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Director of Product Strategy to lead the development and execution of Arkalytics' product strategy. This role will be responsible for aligning product development with market opportunities, customer needs and long term strategic business goals. Along with the Product owner, this role will define and drive the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for our lakehouse platform, Arkalytics. They will be responsible for deeply understanding our customers, credit unions and banks, their regulatory and operational challenges, and delivering solutions that empower them with modern, scalable, and secure data infrastructure.

The Director of Product Strategy will collaborate closely across all departments to ensure our product roadmap not only meets the needs of our customers but also drives the company's growth in an increasingly competitive market. In this role, you will work closely with customers and internal teams, leveraging deep industry insights to drive innovation in the market. You will be responsible for translating complex data and compliance requirements into high-impact solutions, ensuring our platform remains a leader in the fintech space. Your ability to blend technical expertise and market knowledge will be critical to success. This individual will be a visionary leader, combining both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, to craft a compelling product strategy and lead the evolution of Arkalytics' offerings.

This is a key leadership position that requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution. You will also partner with all stakeholders and the PO to prioritize and deliver features that drive measurable business value. Your leadership will ensure that our platform not only meets industry standards for security, governance, and compliance, but also sets new benchmarks for performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy Development

  • Own and evolve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals and market trends.

  • Lead the definition and execution of a long-term product strategy for Arkalytics, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends. Identify new opportunities, emerging trends, and potential areas for innovation within the analytics and business intelligence space.

  • Translate the needs of credit unions and banks into scalable product solutions that drive measurable value.


Roadmap Ownership
  • Partner with the PO to develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key initiatives, product releases, and milestones. Ensure the roadmap aligns with company goals, customer needs, and market demands and is up to date at all times.
Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely across all departments including engineering, design, data science, sales, customer success and marketing to deliver exceptional products. Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to ensure cross-functional alignment and that product decisions are well-communicated across the organization.

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing product team.

  • Champion a customer-first, data-driven, and agile product culture.


Customer Engagement & Market Insights

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their pain points, gather feedback, and validate new features.

  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to inform product positioning and differentiation.

  • Lead efforts to gather deep customer insights and feedback, ensuring the product is delivering value and meeting the needs of our target audience and persona.


Execution & Delivery

  • Prioritize and manage product initiatives from ideation through launch and iteration.

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.


Metrics & KPIs:
  • Define and track OKRs and KPIs to measure the success of product initiatives. Use data-driven insights to optimize the product lifecycle, drive adoption, and ensure retention.
Go-to-Market Strategy:

  • Partner with the marketing and sales teams to ensure the successful go-to-market launch of new features and products. Help craft messaging, positioning, and sales enablement materials that communicate the value of Arkalytics effectively to customers and prospects.

  • Assess impact of new feature releases on ongoing and future implementations and come up with recommendations and communicate to the Implementation teams.

  • Assess impact of new feature releases on Support Services and come up with recommendations and communicate to the Support teams.


Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Partner with CTO to stay cutting edge on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor movements. Drive innovation and continuous improvement to keep Arkalytics at the forefront of the analytics space.
Stakeholder Communication
  • Regularly update key stakeholders on product development progress, strategy, and results. Provide strategic recommendations to executives to inform key business decisions.
Data & Platform Expertise

  • Drive innovations that leverage modern data architectures, particularly in cloud-native lakehouse environments.

  • Ensure the platform meets industry standards for security, governance, compliance and scalability.



Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 7+ years in a leadership role.

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or SaaS products.

  • Experience with scaling SaaS products to ~20-30 mn+ in recurring revenue in rapidly growing markets

  • Experience building or managing data platforms

  • Proven track record of driving successful product strategies from concept through execution and delivering measurable business outcomes

  • Deep understanding of the fintech or banking space—experience with credit unions, core banking systems, or regulatory environments is highly preferred.

  • Proven success in defining and delivering complex technical products to market.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive clarity, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Familiarity with technologies like Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Tableau, PowerBI is a huge plus.

  • Expertise with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

  • Knowledge of customer success best practices in a subscription-based business model.

  • Experience with go-to-market strategies for enterprise and mid-market customers.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with or selling to community banks or credit unions.

  • Background in data governance, BI, or compliance-heavy domains.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
