Senior Accountant

Role And Responsibilities

• Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Assist Accounting Manager with the day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations of the Accounting/Finance department.
• Prepare and post monthly Journal Entries to the GL.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
• Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Assist with Budgets and Actual vs Budget analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related fields, required
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and organization.
• Proven track record of good communication skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel) and Word.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks; work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in healthcare industry preferred but not required.
• Great Plains accounting system experience preferred but not required.
