What You Will Do As a Business Development Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive market expansion in the power sector. This role is ideal for a high-energy, results-driven professional who thrives on building strategic relationships, developing new opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Expand Moxa’s presence in the power generation, transmission, and distribution markets.
  • Develop key partnerships with utilities, EPCs, system integrators, and technology providers.
  • Drive sales growth through strategic account planning, market penetration, and partner enablement, and achieving quotas,
  • Position Moxa as a thought leader by engaging in industry events, trade shows, and forums.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop tailored solutions.
  • Become the thought leader by being knowledgeable and providing proactive feedback on new markets and products, competitive information, and technology trends.
  • Develop and conduct application presentations and market seminars/road shows to promote Moxa at Power market.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar major is a plus.
  • Professional Certificates/Licenses: Cisco CCNA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of business development in industrial networking, cybersecurity, or automation within the power, utilities, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Strong understanding of substation automation, SCADA systems, and grid modernization. Familiar with IEC 61850 is a plus.
  • Proven ability to build strategic partnerships and drive revenue growth.
  • Execution-focused, persistent, and results-driven with a growth mindset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to engage customers and partners.

Compensation Information

Total compensation target: $130,000 - $200,000/annually (Base + Commission + Bonus)

Base salary range: $91,000 - $140,000/annually

Target commission opportunity: $39,000 - $60,000/annually
