Quality Inspector Job Overview: As a Quality Inspector, you'll use various hand inspection tools to conduct dimensional inspections and layout inspections for castings and weldments. You'll interpret manufacturing drawings with a solid understanding of GD&T. This is a floor position requiring standing for up to 10 hours a day.

- Perform receiving inspection functions according to Trace-A-Matic’s procedures and work instructions.
- Carry out final inspection functions in accordance with Trace-A-Matic’s procedures and work instructions.
- Audit in-process inspections.
- Report results of all inspections to machinists and plant supervisors.
- Conduct casting and weldment layout inspections.
- Create accurate inspection reports.
- Set up inspection gauges.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of experience in Quality Inspection, preferably in a machining or fabrication environment
- Proficiency with hand inspection tools and CMM operation
- Good computer skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow
