Role

Searching for an assistant to kitchen and bath designer to help make them more productive in their sales. This position can eventually evolve into a designer role once you are well versed in our process and we are confident of your knowledge and abilities. This job requires creativity with the ability to focus on details and being practical at same time. The perfect candidate could be very helpful in the following areas:

• price custom cabinetry
• create professional plans, elevations and renderings with 20/20 Design
• Answer phones
• Greet and assist walk-ins to showrooms as needed
• Accept deliveries from Fed X and UPS and check packing slip against order
• Track and check on orders to ensure they arrive on time for install projects
• Assist with selection and pricing for tiles, counters, appliances, lighting, etc.
• Photograph completed remodeling jobs and upload to our website
• Make sure our showroom samples are organized and up to date
• Create project binders for new contracts and close out file away older jobs
• Run errands as needed such as take a package to UPS store, pick up stamps, etc.
  
  

Our store location is in Old Town Alexandria on King Street and we have an excellent referral business and online reviews. We provide complete kitchen and bath remodeling services in Northern VA and also cabinet sales only. We carry high end cabinetry brands such as Wood-Mode and Quality Custom Cabinetry.

Some training provided but would prefer experience with 20/20 design or other design software and quickly be able to prepare professional plans

This would be an ideal position for a graduate of an interior design program who wishes to specialize in kitchen and bath design or someone who has been in kitchen and bath design previously but wishes to work in an assistant role rather than sales.
