Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Manager will play a key hands-on role in using innovative approaches to reach our target customers and drive conversion through a variety of digital marketing channels and techniques.
This experienced individual will develop and implement compelling and seamless customer journeys, ensuring effective execution across various owned and paid media channels, with a heavy emphasis on email and landing page performance.
The Digital Marketing Manager is a data-driven marketer with a passion for optimizing the customer journey and enhancing user experience. You will have the opportunity to partner closely with cross-functional teams including Affinity Marketing, Product, Growth, Database Marketing and/or Application Development to develop and execute great campaigns.
This Role Will Focus On
In collaboration with other members of the Digital Commerce Pod and with internal or external resources as needed:

Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.

In collaboration with other members of the Digital Commerce Pod and with internal or external resources as needed:
Guide Marketing Strategy
- Working with multiple teams across the company (Affinity Marketing, Product, Growth, Database Marketing and/or Application Development) and in alignment with the Digital Commerce Leader, develop digital marketing plans to drive customer acquisition and engagement.
- Monitor competitors and latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Mentor marketing colleagues on digital marketing tactics and best practices.
- Plan and manage comprehensive digital advertising campaigns across owned and paid media channels to drive direct response and new user acquisition.
- Build paid media campaigns across Google, Bing, Meta and other ad networks as appropriate.
- Continually analyze and monitor performance and user behavior across the customer journey to generate data-driven hypotheses that inform strategies and uncover areas of opportunity to improve the customer experience.
- Identify campaign components that are ripe for A/B test experiments to optimize performance. Develop strategic recommendations and work with internal or external partners to execute strategy.
- Continually adjust the strategy, targeting and budgets accordingly.
- Coordinate with external agencies and vendors as needed to support digital marketing initiatives.
- In partnership with Database Marketing, establish a clear measurement framework, define KPIs, track and analyze paid media, email marketing and website performance.
- Monitor campaign performance on a weekly and monthly basis to identify areas of success or optimization opportunities.
- Manage revenue forecasts, including establishment of annual forecast and monthly reforecasting based on performance actuals.
- Produce regular and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish campaign performance benchmarks to manage budgets and forecasts against spend/effectiveness targets and develop supporting financial reports for delivery on regular intervals.
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
Required Experience
- Minimum five years of experience with digital marketing and/or ecommerce websites, preferably in B2C.
- Minimum five years of project management or project team experience.
- Minimum three years’ experience working with revenue and budget forecasts, reporting performance against goal monthly and being accountable for reaching forecasts.
- Minimum three years’ experienced leading hypothesis-driven A/B tests, experiment design, user testing and statistically significant testing methodologies.
- Advanced knowledge of the customer journey from new leads to loyal customers and the role that digital and omni-channel marketing plays in developing that relationship.
- Deep understanding of persona development, cohort definition and segmentation.
- Hands on experience working within online marketing tools and ad platforms such as SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, email marketing, CTV, streaming audio, affiliate and/or content marketing.
- Understanding of best practices for optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Strong project and campaign management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly cross-functionally internally and externally.
- Exceptional customer service skills and relationship management.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, pay attention to small details, provide feedback, review content, and make informed decisions.
- Inquisitive self-starter who is willing to independently learn new tools and techniques.
- Creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing and staying ahead of industry trends.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office.
