Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee our treasury and accounting operations. This role is pivotal in managing the financial health and compliance of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background similar to that of a controller, with expertise in both finance and accounting practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the company’s financial and accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management, investment strategies, and banking relationships.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
  • Manage and implement Company’s initiatives and projects from finance and accounting perspective. This includes providing requirements, designing, and performing UAT, designing new workflow and monitoring post go-live processes.
  • Utilize financial software and systems to maintain accurate financial records and reporting.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and growth.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Reporting and optimizing the bad debt provisions process.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and support of overall business objectives.
  • Provides oversight, training, and coaching to department associates.
  • All other job duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in accounting for retail finance or related financial services is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or controller role.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills. Experience with SAP or Dynamics365 is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work on-site at our Foothill Ranch, CA office.


Profile Differentiators:

  • Experience in founding, co-founding or working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience in Powersports Finance Industry (motorcycle, ATVs UTVs, PWCs)
  • Experience in a FinTech startup.
  • Advanced Professional degree
  • Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools


Salary Range:

$125,000 - $140,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
