Sterile Processing Technician - Lead

Reporting to the Supervisor of Sterile Processing Department, responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of supplies and equipment dispensed by the department following established infection control practices. Directs and checks work of Central Processing Technicians in the absence of management personnel and or as directed by supervisor. Willingness to accept new ideas and work under stressful conditions. Participates in the department’s performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• CBSPD or HSPA CRCST certification required.
• Three years of central processing experience preferred.
