The Director of Enterprise Transportation Sales is responsible for understanding the company’s position in the third-party logistics industry market. They will implement programs that are designed to secure new businesses and retain existing clients aligned to corporate objectives. This position will also assist in the development of marketing materials to strategically position the organization in the marketplace. The Director of Sales is expected to spearhead new opportunities and develop initiatives to gain brand awareness and new clients.

This position will also assist in the development of marketing materials to strategically position the organization in the marketplace. The Director of Sales is expected to spearhead new opportunities and develop initiatives to gain brand awareness and new clients.
Essential Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze data and information to update marketing and/or sales plans, activities, and company literature/materials
- Participate in tradeshow and networking activities to generate sales lead and brand awareness in the marketplace
- Develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective clients and the general public to enhance the organization’s brand awareness
- Manage and develop reports for the Executive Committee and the Sales & Marketing department with information from in the HubSpot database, email communications, documents and other tools to drive strategic decision-making
- Address quote requests and client leads and prepare/present proposals to the Growth and Executive Teams with new opportunities
- Pioneer, develop, and coordinate prospective client tours, presentations and activities to assist in the sales cycle
- Manage transition of accounts from sales to the operations and implementation teams to support new client implementation phases
- All other duties as assigned

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree business, marketing or equivalent education/work experience preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience with an established network of connections in the industry preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word and PowerPoint) preferred
- Previous experience with networking and relationship building preferred
- Previous LTL experience.
- Must have experience in selling Enterprise Transportation Sales.
- Previous experience in the operations and logistics industry preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ambition to grow
- Comfortability speaking, presenting and interacting with internal and customer teams
- Prioritization and organization skills
- Strong planning and time-management skills
