Description Summary

This position is responsible for administrative support for the local office and primary contact for team member questions. This position partners with corporate accounting and human resources to implement and maintain company practices and policies and serves as a liaison between the field and corporate office.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Lead accounting duties for local office which includes weekly payroll certification, conducting credit applications for accounts receivable and accounts payable, managing credit card receipts and new credit request forms, and serving as the team member liaison for payroll forms such as time off requests, direct deposit changes, and injury forms
  • Complete construction pre-qualification packets and assure certificates of insurance are obtained and maintained.
  • Assist with the team member's experience, benefits support, and the new hire process. Assist with interviews, conduct CDL Driver reference checks, schedule pre-employment drug screens, support the onboarding process, and complete and submit new hire packets
  • Maintain drivers list for local office and assist with International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) reporting
  • Local office primary contact for team member questions and standard office duties including answering phones, mail management, office and kitchen supplies ordering and maintenance, uniforms, hotel accommodations for crews, and errands
  • Assist with purchase order log, manage bills and material receipts
  • Manages local licenses and permits
  • Assists the sales team with W9’s and other required forms
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education And Experience

  • High School Diploma and 3 years of experience in an administrative role with increasing responsibility
  • 1 year of experience in the construction industry is preferred


PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Frequently: Sitting and viewing a computer screen 
  • Occasional activities: standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching in various positions as the situation dictates. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds  
  • Ability to identify safety hazards and communicate effectively with others.
  • Safely perform work with appropriate safety gear.
  • Bend, squat, twist, and reach in various positions as the situation dictates.
