Infrastructure Administrator

Are you passionate about designing, building, updating, and maintaining IT infrastructure? If so, Modern Woodmen is looking for an Infrastructure Administrator with a focus on database administration. This role involves managing various on-premises datacenter systems, networks, servers, and databases. As an Infrastructure Administrator, you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, documenting, and securing operating environments. Additionally, you will provide training and support to end users, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge needed to effectively utilize the IT infrastructure. Responsibilities:
- Create and publish reports or technical documents for management.
- Provide datacenter support including remote and in person work.
- General knowledge of cloud computing experience including Infrastructure as code (Terraform), IaaS, PaaS, CaaS.
- Experience working with SaaS applications on various cloud platforms and providers.
- Implement automation opportunities across all infrastructure areas.
- Perform infrastructure upgrades by conferring with vendors, developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.
- Support other areas of IT and how they work with and relate to our Infrastructure.
- Perform the development, installation, testing and monitoring of the organization’s disaster recovery procedures and documentation.
- Work with Information Security on the implementation of securing on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop user instructional material and provide individual or classroom training to users.
- Be a member of and support on-call rotation which provides monitoring and support of the organizations Infrastructure, software licensing and maintenance agreements.
- Communicate with vendors or third parties.
What we need:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or a combination of education and experience.
- Self-starter with excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
- Extremely detail orientated.
- Display work behaviors of high integrity and honesty.
- Able to take direction and follow established processes and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of problem solving and analytical skills.
- Preferred knowledge of Azure and VMware.
- Strong experience with the following:
- Database Administration: Microsoft SQL Server
- PowerShell
- Working knowledge of the following:

- Power BI

What we offer:
- Pay: The annual pay for this position is $60,000 - $85,000. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.
- Work Arrangements: This is a full-time hybrid position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7 a.m.-9 a.m. Hybrid positions work at least three days in office and the remaining days each week working from hom Employees beginning to work in a new hybrid role will be asked to work on-site (five days a week) during the initial training period which may be up to one year.
