FP&C is seeking a part-time Marketing & Content Specialist to support the development of marketing materials, digital content, and business development collateral. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong writing and visual communication skills who understands how to engage federal audiences through both narrative and design. You’ll contribute to content across digital platforms, social media, internal templates, proposals, and pitch materials. This is a great opportunity for a marketing and communications professional who enjoys producing clean, effective content that aligns with brand and business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with developing and scheduling digital content (e.g., LinkedIn posts, email messaging, web copy).
- Draft and format marketing collateral including service briefs, capability statements, and one-pagers.
- Support proposal development by creating or editing past performance summaries, executive summaries, and company bios.
- Build and update pitch decks and presentations in PowerPoint.
- Ensure consistency in brand tone, style, and formatting across all materials.
- Maintain a shared repository of content templates and visual assets.
Education & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or content development.
- Experience supporting or working within a government contracting environment.
- Proficiency with content creation tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Canva.
- Ability to create clear, concise content across formats—short-form digital posts, longer marketing pieces, and formal proposal documents.
- Understanding of how to tailor content for government contracting audiences and the proposal process.
- Familiarity with content planning, messaging strategy, and basic SEO/digital content practices.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines independently.
- Able to design clean, professional slides and layouts.
- Familiarity with email marketing tools and website content management.
- Able to edit, proofread, and format with accuracy and consistency.
- Comfortable working with a remote team, open to feedback, and proactive in communicating status or ideas.
- Able to provide a portfolio of writing or content samples that demonstrates a range of formats and styles.
