General Ledger Accountant

Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative General Ledger Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you’ll be a key player in maintaining the integrity of our financial records, supporting strategic decisions with accurate data, and helping shape our accounting processes in a high-impact industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter financial transactions and journal entries into the general ledger
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial documentation
• Analyze financial data and support month-end and year-end close processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Support the Controller and broader finance team with various accounting functions
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with audit preparation
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and update documentation for accounting procedures
  
  

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience (manufacturing industry preferred)
• Solid understanding of accounting standards and regulatory frameworks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
• Experience with accounting systems – SAP and IFS experience is a strong plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clear and professional communication skills – both written and verbal
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team
