Position Overview

We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic social media team. This role will focus on supporting the day-to-day execution of both paid and organic strategies across platforms and will work cross-functionally to support the execution of our social media strategy. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with strong organizational skills and an eye for detail—helping the social media team to build community, drive brand awareness and showcase the creativity that powers the Spoonflower brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Execution & Strategy Support
    • Support the daily scheduling, publishing and boosting of content across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.).
    • Collaborate on social content calendars, campaign rollouts, and content ideas.
    • Support the setup and optimization of paid ad creatives to ensure performance aligns with campaign goals.
    • Stay informed on current social media trends, tools, and best practices to inspire future posts and ads.
  • Content Sourcing & Management:
    • Coordinate with the creative team on asset organization and delivery.
    • Assist in the management of user-generated content (UGC), influencer collaborations, and brand partnerships.
  • Data Tracking & Reporting:
    • Help track, report, and analyze social metrics and performance across both paid and organic social media.
    • Assist in setting up campaign parameters, pacing, and reporting for paid social campaigns.
Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in a social media, content, or marketing-related role.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • You’re curious, coachable, and excited to learn the ins and outs of social media marketing.
  • You’re highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You’re a team player who’s comfortable taking initiative and asking questions.
  • You have a passion for creativity, community, and great storytelling.
  • You approach tasks with an analytical, data-driven mindset.
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite, TikTok, Instagram, and social scheduling tools is a plus.
