Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities and interventions.
- Collaborate with clients to set achievable goals and monitor progress toward those goals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources as needed.
- Participate in case conferences and treatment team meetings to discuss client cases and treatment strategies.
- Provide crisis intervention services and support to clients in acute distress.
- Stay informed about current research, best practices, and developments in the field of mental health therapy.
- Adhere to licensing regulations, ethical guidelines, and clinic policies and procedures.
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in the state of practice.
- Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience providing individual, couples and/or group therapy in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient mental health.
- Knowledge and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic clinical environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards of practice.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
