Position Summary

As a Front Office Assistant, you will be part of a team that strives to uphold Unio Health Partners' mission of providing the highest level of care. You will be responsible for greeting patients, checking in patients, scheduling, and verifying insurance/payment. The Front Office Assistant supports the flow of patient care by providing excellent patient relations.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Welcome patients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
  • Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments and follow-ups in person or by telephone and checking patients in and out
  • Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays
  • Ensure the availability of treatment information by filling and retrieving patient records
  • Answering/fielding patient phone calls in a courteous and professional manner


What You Will Bring To The Team

  • 2 years of experience in the medical field is required
  • EMR system experience
  • Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Bilingual-Spanish preferred
