Job Summary
The Mid-Market Account Executive will be responsible for managing frontline communication with our customers and prospective customers by taking all inbound leads and calls and work to qualify and convert to rental customers. Our Mid-Market Account Executive team works with the Director of Inside Sales to manage all accounts with less than 25 trucks on rent.

Business Development
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify potential mid-market customers in various industries and regions
- Proactively reach out to prospects through cold calls and emails
- Develop a strong understanding of the company's fleet rental offerings and value proposition to effectively communicate benefits to potential clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mid-market clients, acting as their main point of contact for all fleet rental inquiries
- Conduct needs analysis to understand clients' specific requirements and challenges
- Offer customized fleet rental solutions that align with clients' business goals and maximize value for their organizations
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the entire sales cycle
- Collaborate with the sales team and execute comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets within the mid-market segment
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and other team members to create sales plans, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
- Present and demonstrate fleet rental solutions to potential clients, addressing their questions and concerns effectively
- 20 Cold Calls daily plus managing current activities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress in the Salesforce system
- Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and closure of deals
- Work closely with the Marketing team to identify potential marketing campaigns or initiatives that can support lead generation efforts
- Collaborate with the Account Manager and Operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing support for clients
- Other duties as assigned
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner when dealing with employees, vendors, customers and company contacts
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to perform the above duties with little supervision
- Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment along with organization under expected timelines
- Team-player who works well with all internal departments
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in fleet management, rental, or related industries
- Experience selling to mid-market clients and managing complex sales cycles
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
- High School Diploma
- A minimum of 1 year Customer service experience
- A minimum of 1 year Sales experience
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Salesforce CRM Experience a plus
